Yakima FullBack Trunk Mount 2 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Kia Seltos- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer, and today I have the Yakima FullBack two-bike trunk mounted bike rack. We'll take a look and focus on how it fits our 2023 Kia Seltos. So for the Kia Seltos, which is actually my vehicle, you have limited options when it comes to carrying around bikes because it doesn't already have a hitch installed and you'd have to get a roof rack installed separately if it didn't already come with one. So your next option there for a quick and easy solution is the Yakima FullBack. Now, ideally, if you can please get a hitch installed onto your car so you can get a hitch mounted bike rack because then you're gonna get access to your hatch where in this case you lose access to your hatch. But for some reason you can't find a hitch, don't have the availability for the hitch, and, or don't have the time or want to invest in one, let's take a look at how this is gonna be the more premium option for your vehicle. more

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Kia Stinger, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Yakima full back two by trunk mount rack. That part number is Y02634.Now, as you can see we do have a bike installed, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, on the end of our left arm right here, we're gonna have a bottle opener that Yakima likes to put on all of their products, or all their bike racks I should say.On the other arm we have this integrated cable lock, which can wrap around the second bike you have installed, and go on that notch right there. And then when you want to unlock it, you have a set of keys and the key slot so you can unlock the cable.Now, we have three different points where our bike's secured. We have three zip strips. We have two on the top of our frame and the third one is down here securing the seat post tube into the anti rattle cradle. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Kia Soul, we're doing a test fit of the Yakima HangOut trunk mount two-bike rack. That part number is Y02637.Now, we already have our bikes secured down. We're first going to show you how we secured it in place. You're going to have three straps and cradles: Two straps over the top, and one is our anti-sway strap in the back. To release those, we're just going to pull down and lift up and we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side.A nice thing about our cradles is that they are gonna have a cushioned area to prevent any scratches or abrasions. We'll also have grooves down in there so that our brake lines can fit evenly and we won't have to worry about any damage to those as well.Now we'll take a few measurements here. more

Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2009 Kia Spectra- Video
Today on our 2009 Kia Spectra, we're doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Over the Top Trunk Mount 2-Bike Carrier. That part number is HRF2. We already have our bike secured, we're just going to show you how we do that, and then we'll go over some features. We have two cradles in place with three straps; two on our frame, and one is our anti-sway strap in the back. We're just going to pull down and lift up to release those, and we'll pull our bike straight off our rack, and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage them. Now we'll take a few measurements. Our first one is going to be the overall that we're adding to the back of our vehicle, with our arms hanging out, it's going to be about 22-1/2". more

We already have our bikes secured down, we are first going to show you how we do that and then we'll go over some features of the rack itself. We have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame here and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. To release those we're just going to pull down and lift up, and be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage any of them. Now we'll take a few measurements here. We're going to do our overall first. With our arms hanging out we're adding about 21 inches to our vehicle. more

Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2014 Kia Soul- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Soul, we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima QuickBack, a trunk-mounted 2-bike rack, part number Y02621. To begin our test fit, we're place the QuickBack directly onto the rear of our hatch. We'll take the hooks labeled top and we'll connect them to the top of our rear hatch. The hooks labeled side will go to the side and the hooks labeled bottom will go to the bottom. With our hooks in place, we'll tighten up each strap a little bit at a time to secure the rack to our vehicle. With our racks secure, we'll fold up the excess strap and place them into the attached clips. We're now ready to load up our bike. more

Thule Gateway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2014 Kia Soul- Video
Today on our 2014 Kia Soul, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Gateway, a trunk-mounted, adjustable arm 2-bike rack with part number TH9006XT. With our FitDial set to 11, as per the Thule Fit Guide, we're going to begin the test fit by placing the rack directly onto the back of our hatch. We'll connect the two top hooks to the front top edge of our rear hatch. Side hooks will go to the side of our hatch. Be sure to connect it to the metal. The bottom hooks will go under our hatch. With all of our hooks in place, we'll now tighten each strap a little bit at a time until we have the rack secured firmly to our vehicle. more

Thule Archway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2014 Kia Soul- Video
Today, on our 2014 Kia Soul, were going to be test fitting the Thule Archway, a Trunk Mount Adjustable Arm 2 Bike Rack with part # TH9009XT. With our fit dial set to the number 11 as per the Thule fit guide, we're going to begin our test fit by placing the bike rack directly onto the rear of the hatch. We'll take the 2 top hooks, we connect them to the top front of the hatch, and our bottom hooks will go onto the bottom lip of the hatch. Take our side hooks, connect them to the side of the hatch. With all of our hooks in place, we'll tighten them down a little bit at a time until we have the rack firmly secured to the vehicle. We'll now take our excess strap, loop it up, and secure it in place. It's now time fold out dual cradle arms. We'll do this by lifting on the 2 gray levers located on both sides of the rack. more

Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento we'll be test fitting the Yakima QuickBack 3-bike trunk-mount carrier, part number Y02622. Now to begin our test fit we will first need to check the Yakima fit guide or the included instructions to determine where the trunk mount will need to be placed onto the vehicle. After doing so we'll place the carrier onto the cargo door just below the license plate. We'll take the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door, the side hooks to the side part of the cargo door just above the taillights, and the bottom hooks at the bottom of the cargo door. You may need to open your door to get the hooks to fit correctly onto the door without damaging your vehicle. We'll now secure the carrier to the vehicle by tightening the straps. Once the carrier is secured to the vehicle we're ready to load our bike. more

Today on our 2012 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting the Yakima QuickBack Trunk Mount 2-Bike Carrier part number Y02621. Now to begin our test fit, you simply place the carrier on to the vehicles cargo door. Notes, that the bottom of the carrier should be just below the licenced plate on that little lift. Well then use the red knob of the top of the carrier to push in the arms to fit it to the vehicle. Well then turn the red knob to tighten down to secure it in position. Well now put the top stretch at the top part of our cargo door. more

Thule Raceway Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2012 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2012 KIA Sorento, we'll be test fitting the Thule Raceway Trunk-Mounted 2-Bike Carrier, part number TH9001. To begin our test fit, we'll first need to set the fit dial to number 10, according to the included instructions. After setting the fit dial, we'll place the carrier onto the vehicle's cargo door. Note that the bottom part of the carrier should be just below the license plate on the lip. We'll then put the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the cargo door. We'll then tighten down the gray knobs to the left and right hand side of the carrier to secure our Thule Raceway to our KIA Sorento. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2012 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2012 Kia Sorento, we'll be test fitting he Holly wood Racks Expedition trunk mounted two bike carrier, part number HRF6-2. Now to begin our test fit we'll simply set the carrier onto the vehicles cargo door. We'll put the bottom tier of the carrier just below the license plate on the cargo door. We can then use the black levers on the left and ride hand side of the carrier to adjust the carrier to fit the vehicles cargo door. Once we've established this position we can clamp them in place and put the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door, the side hooks to the side part of the cargo door, and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the cargo door. We can then tighten down the straps to secure our Hollywood Racks expedition to our Kia Sorento. After securing the excess slack were ready to load up our bike. We'll flip out the second set of black levers to swing out our cradle arms. more

Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Bike Carrier Trunk Mount, part number hrf6-2. To begin our test fit, well set the carrier onto the cargo door of the vehicle and use the black levers located at the left and right side of the carrier to adjust it. Now this carrier will fit onto the cargo door just below the license plate. Well now go ahead and hook the top hooks to the top part of the cargo door, the side hooks to the side part of the cargo door just above the taillights, and the bottom hooks to the bottom of the cargo door. Well then tighten the straps to secure it to the vehicle. If your vehicle is equipped with a rear windshield wiper, you will need to make sure that there is enough clearance when your carrier is installed to bring the cradle arms out. more

Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting the Thule Raceway Platform-Style Trunk Mount 2 Bike Carrier, part number TH9003. Before I begin our test fit, well first need to check Thule fit guide or the included instructions to determine what number the fit dial needs to be at. For this vehicle the fit dial will need to be at ten. Once we have the bike rack fit dial at ten, well not set the bike carrier onto the vehicle and latch the top two hooks onto the top of the cargo door and the bottom hooks on the bottom of the cargo door. You may need to open your cargo door in order to get the hooks underneath without damaging your bumper. We will then tighten the straps down and secure it to the vehicle by turning the dials located to the left and right side of the bike carrier. Once we get it tightened down and secured to the vehicle were ready to load our bike. more

Thule Raceway Platform Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Rio- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Rio well be test fitting the Thule raceway platform style two bike carrier, part number TH9003. Now weve already pre-assembled our bike rack and gone ahead and set it up according to the fit guide instructions found within the bike rack. Were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well place the bike rack on the deck lid where we can take the two top cables and hook it to the deck lid just behind the rear window. Well then tighten them down just snug so that the bike rack stays on the vehicle. Well then take the two lower cables, hook them to the deck lid just above the rear bumper fascia. more

Today on this 2013 Kia Rio, well be test fitting the Thule Raceway 2-Bike Carrier, part number TH9001.Before we begin our test fit, we will first need to adjust the bike carrier to their correct size for the vehicle. The instructions will tell you what measurement your trunk rack needs to be atFor this model, the trunk rack will need to be the size 7. Well then take the trunk mounted carrier and set it on to the trunk, attached the first set of hooks to the top of the trunk and the second set of hooks to the rear of the trunk and use the grey knobs located at the right and left side of the carrier to tighten up the cables.Once the cables are secured and tightened were now ready to load the bike. To load the bike lift up on the grey handle and tilt the cradle arms towards you. Once the cradle arms are in place again, push down on the grey handle to lock it in place and undo the cradle straps. Set the bike onto the frame cradles secure it with the cradle straps.That concludes this test fit for the Thule Raceway 2-Bike Carrier, part number TH9001 on this 2013 Kia Rio. more

Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2013 Kia Rio- Video
Today on this 2013 Kia Rio, well be test fitting the Yakima Quickback 2-Bike Carrier, part number Y02621.To begin our test fit well set the carrier onto the trunk with the cradle arms towards the top of the trunk mount facing outward. Well then use the straps at the top of the carrier to hook to the top of the trunk and then straps towards the bottom of the carrier to hook to the bottom of the trunk and then pull the straps tight to secure the carrier in place.Once the carrier is tightened in place you can fold out the access strap and place it in a black clip.To load the bike, first, make sure that the cradle arms are level or at a level bit of an angle facing up then undo the cradle straps. Set the bike onto the frame cradles and secure with the cradle straps.That concludes todays test fit for the Yakima Quickback 2-Bike Carrier, part number Y02621 on this 2013 Kia Rio. . more
